What is Partner Housing?

Partner Housing Australasia (Regional) Incorporated is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation, a registered charity whose mission is to help provide simple, decent , affordable homes in partnership with selected families. Based in the Macarthur region South West of Sydney, Australia we are borderd by major growth areas Camden and Campbelltown.

Changing the lives of families

The Partner Housing organisation is all about giving hard working families a hand up with a desire to make a difference to the chosen families. Without the help of our sponsors, hard working volunteers and the many chosen families our 'partners' it would not be possible to provide these life changing essentials.

Partner Housing Australasia, previously known as (Habitat for Humanity Macarthur) has been changing lives for needy families since 1989 and provided the Western Sydney region with over 16 house and land packages over a 20 year period.

Making a difference

Thousands of Australian families go without a descent roof over their heads and are caught up in the rent cycle with virtually no hope of owning their own homes. Through circumstances beyond their control, many couples find it impossible to save a deposit and establish a mortgage.

Partner Housing Australasia Regional assists selected families with the acquisition of land and the provision of a" no interest loan" over a twenty year period. In return, couples who meet the selection criteria will be required to invest 500 hours of "sweat equity". In general, this means that they will need to physically assist with labour in the building of their home.

Partner Housing aims to service Australia and overseas housing needs, giving selflessly building materials, labour and trade skills to get the job done. In 2005 Partner Housing became involved in our first overseas assignment by conducting major design and construction audits of the tsunami disaster areas.
